Family-Friendly Halloween Movie Night in Edwardsville

According to the City of Edwardsville, families are invited to enjoy a “spooktacular” evening under the stars on Friday, October 17, beginning at 7 p.m. The city will host an outdoor screening of Halloweentown at the Edwardsville Community Center, complete with free popcorn and treats for everyone.

The annual Halloween movie night has become a favorite seasonal tradition for many Edwardsville families. City staff said the goal is to provide a safe, family-friendly space where neighbors can relax, laugh, and celebrate together. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and friends to make the evening even more enjoyable.

The movie will play on a large outdoor screen set up near the community center’s lawn area. Organizers recommend arriving early to grab a good viewing spot and enjoy the fall atmosphere before the show begins.

This free event is open to all ages and is sponsored by Lineage Logistics. Residents can RSVP online at jarvisregister.com.
