The Halloween spirit will soon roll through Edwardsville as the city prepares for its annual Trunk-or-Treat celebration on Saturday, October 26, beginning at 1 p.m.
According to the City of Edwardsville, this year’s event will take the form of a “Spooky Express,” featuring 12 community stops where children can safely collect candy from participating residents, churches, and neighborhood groups. The route encourages families to explore several parts of town while enjoying a fun, family-friendly afternoon.
City officials said the event provides a safe and organized alternative to traditional trick-or-treating and helps foster community spirit. Families are encouraged to wear costumes, bring candy bags, and take part in the festivities by visiting as many stops as they can.
