2025 Vendor & Small Business Resource Fair in Kansas City, Kansas

The Unified Government (UG) of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas, will host the 2025 Building Connections Vendor & Small Business Resource Fair on Tuesday, Sept. 30, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Memorial Hall, 600 N. 7th St.

According to the UG, the free event is designed to connect small and local businesses with government agencies, large corporations, and community members. Attendees will have the chance to explore procurement opportunities, network with resource providers, and shop from local vendors.

“We are extremely excited to assist small and local businesses with resources and networking opportunities to aid in scaling their businesses,” said UG Procurement Manager Sharon Reed. “This event also helps businesses understand how to explore procurement opportunities with government agencies and large corporations. With major events coming to our region very soon, we are committed to partnering with our local businesses to ensure they are equipped with guidance, resources and opportunities.”

The day will begin with presentations and workshops from 9 to 11 a.m., covering topics such as:

  • Preparing for major upcoming events, including sporting events and conferences.
  • Best practices for working with government agencies.
  • How to pursue procurement opportunities and secure business licenses.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Vendor and Resource Fair will feature local businesses selling goods and services, alongside opportunities for networking with other entrepreneurs and resource providers from across the metro.
