The Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT) is inviting residents to provide feedback on a proposed amendment to the Federal Fiscal Year 2026–2029 Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (STIP).
According to KDOT, the STIP is a project-specific document that lists all KDOT-administered projects, regardless of funding source. It includes projects for state highways, counties, and cities across Kansas.
The list of projects affected by the proposed amendment can be viewed online at ksdot.gov/about/publications-and-reports/state-transportation-improvement-program-stip.
As part of the approval process, a public comment period is required. Comments on the amendment will be accepted until Oct. 9.
