Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools (KCKPS) will hold its 2025-26 Budget Hearing on Tuesday, September 9, at 5:05 p.m.
According to KCKPS, the hearing will be at the district’s Central Office, located at 2010 N. 59th St., Kansas City, KS 66104. The purpose is to hear and respond to objections from taxpayers regarding the proposed use of funds and the amount of tax to be levied.
District officials said detailed budget information, including the budget profile, building needs assessment, and Board state assessments review, is available at the District Office and on the district’s website. The same information will also be available at the hearing.
