Residents can share feedback through May 17 to help guide future park improvements.

Residents who use Welborn Park are being asked to share their thoughts on how the park can better serve the community.

The Unified Government (UG) Parks and Recreation Department is gathering feedback through a community survey focused on Welborn Park, located at 2504 N. 55th St. in Kansas City, Kansas. The 22.9-acre neighborhood park serves District 8 and includes open green space, a playground, a walking trail, a ball field, sports courts, and a dog park.

The survey is open now through Sunday, May 17. Feedback from residents will help UG Parks and Recreation better understand how the park is used today and what improvements community members would like to see in the future.

Residents can help by taking the survey, sharing it with family, friends, and neighborhood groups, and staying connected as the process continues.

Survey links are available in English and Spanish.

UG Parks and Recreation said community input will help guide future enhancements and support a park that continues to meet the needs of residents of all ages.
