The Kansas City, Kansas Police Department (KCKPD) is inviting job seekers to explore a career in law enforcement. Join its upcoming Hiring Event on Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.at Children’s Mercy Park.
Applicants will have the opportunity to apply, test, and interview on site. This streamlines the process for those ready to begin a law enforcement career. Recruiters will also be available to answer questions about the application process, training, and career paths within KCKPD.
The event will feature patrol vehicle and equipment displays. Attendees will have the chance to participate in a ride-along with an officer. This experience will allow them to gain firsthand insight into the work of law enforcement.
KCKPD encourages both new recruits and lateral transfers to attend.
