Kansas City, Kansas Public Schools (KCKPS) has named Brad Isnard as Interim Executive Director of Business and Finance. The appointment is effective immediately.
According to KCKPS, Isnard will oversee budgeting, financial reporting, purchasing, payroll, and grants administration. He will also guide long-range financial planning for bond projects and capital improvements.
Isnard has served as the district’s Director of Finance for the past six years. In that role, he has played a key part in developing multi-year budget frameworks. He strengthened internal controls and ensured resources are aligned with instructional priorities.
District leaders said Isnard will continue to lead the Business and Finance team in his new interim role. He will focus on providing accurate and accessible financial information for staff, families, and the community.
His immediate priorities include finalizing budget adjustments and multi-year projections. He also supports bond-funded construction with cash flow and procurement oversight. Additionally, he coordinates year-end closeout, audit preparation, and compliance deadlines.
