Get Involved: Shape Kansas City’s World Cup Identity

The 2026 FIFA World Cup is set to bring international attention to the Kansas City region. Local leaders are asking residents in Wyandotte County to help shape how the community presents itself on the global stage. They are also reaching out to businesses and organizations.

According to VisitKCK, a community marketing campaign is being developed. The campaign will highlight Kansas City, Kansas, during the tournament. It ensures the benefits extend beyond the matches themselves. The campaign will guide local marketing, events, partnerships, and community engagement.

Residents and stakeholders are encouraged to give input through an online survey, which takes about 15–20 minutes to complete. The survey closes Monday, July 28.

More information and the survey link is available through VisitKCK.
